VINEYARD, Sacramento County — Sacramento County filed an environmental determination in July 2026 for proposed changes to the Bradshaw Road and Gerber Road intersection in the Florin–Vineyard community.

The California Environmental Quality Act registry identifies a Notice of Determination received July 21, 2026. The county’s description proposes widening an existing four-by-four-lane intersection to a modified four-by-six configuration, with road transitions extending into nearby approaches.

What may change at the intersection?

The public document describes potential tree removal and modifications to utility infrastructure, including electric, water, sewer and telecommunications equipment. A road expansion of this scale can involve coordination with multiple property owners and utility operators.

Is construction finished?

An environmental determination is not a construction completion notice. Residents need separate information on final design, funding, the construction contract and traffic control before concluding that the new configuration is in operation.

For commuting and school trips, follow the current posted lane pattern and current SacDOT advisories. Do not rely on a conceptual improvement map as a live traffic plan.
